Anita Cavalier
Founder of Re-Align Pilates studio was born and raised in Vineland, NJ. She has a 29 year old son Michael who has supported and encouraged her to follow her passion for Pilates and her desire to help others. Her journey into Pilates started in the summer of 2004. She quickly fell in love with the method and after 18 months of practice she decided to pursue her teaching certification.
Anita began her education with a mat certification from Physical Mind Institute in February 2006, and continued with her apparatus training becoming fully certified in March of 2008. She is a member of the PMA, and continues her education with on going courses. She has attended the PMA international educational conferences, as well as workshops on Pilates and Osteoporosis, and functional anatomy at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NY. Anita is certified in Barre Amped and teaches barre classes at the studio. She has taken several scoliosis courses such as Scolio-pilates Introductory workshop. She has helped clients with scoliosis improve their quality of life. Anita also has experience helping clients with frozen shoulders, hip and knee replacements and prenatal clients. She is always trying to improve her teaching and how to convey her knowledge and understanding to her students. She is committed to having a positive impact on every student who comes into her studio.
Anita is a natural care giver and has always had a strong desire to help others and it shows in her teaching style. She takes great pride in creating challenging and fun sessions and classes for her clients. She says her biggest satisfaction is watching her clients improve and feel better. The excitement shows in her face and her voice when a student finally perfects a difficult move that they have been working on. When her students ask her where she gets her energy she simply replies from all of you. Anita’s ongoing dedication is to help her clients maintain or restore their bodies to live a healthy pain free life.
